about the Author

For a little bit about the author of wiccan beauty, my name is Patty and I am a well known online beauty and style consultant.  I own a network of popular beauty sites and blogs on the internet.  I know more beauty secrets than I dare admit.  It came as a total surprise when I found out that one of my very good friends was a real wiccan witch!   After I found out she was a witch, we spent many a fun fortnight talking about witchcraft, wicca, and beauty (and a few innocent love spells got cast on me too).  I enjoyed the ritualistic aspect and positive, upbeat nature of the spells.  For example, one spell was meant to rid negativity from my home and another spell was to allow into my life the man of my dreams.  The witchcraft was not scary nor malevolent.  Spells were good willed and nothing like the ignorant pre-concieved notions that I had about witchcraft prior.  That was how I initially got interested in wicca.  Over time, I started researching more about wicca topics on the internet, focusing particularly on how it relates to goddesses, love spells, psychics, and natural beauty.   While I myself am definitely not a witch, I do know substantially more than the layman about wicca and wiccans.

I learned that wiccans are very peaceful and their spells are generally good intentioned.   If you are not familair with witches or witchcraft, I can only say that many of the beliefs are akin to bringing good karma and harmony.  Wiccans are not superficial people.  In fact, they reject artificial superficiality, focusing on inner beauty.  But that doesn’t mean they don’t buy lingerie at Victoria’s Secret every now and then!  Wiccans do believe in natural beauty, essential oils, herbs and organics.  Natural elements of the earth are often utilized in their spells,  such as candles, essential oils, and plants.  Oddly enough, spell ingredients often look like what you would use for home made all natural bath and body recipes and remedies.

I had a few benevolent  beauty and love spells cast on me that lifted my spirits when I was down.  I enjoyed the ceremonial aspect of them.  Only time will tell if they work.  As the author of several popular beauty blogs on the internet, I got the idea to create wiccanbeauty.com.   Stories of the goddesses were enjoyable to research and write. I’ve read quite a bit of material on wiccans and witchcraft now, much of what I learned is shared with you on this site.  I hope you enjoy my sites unique and all original content, witch or not!

No but I am at the least truthful. Nothing angers a witch more than dealing with a poser. People who read one book and put a pentagram around their neck and call themselves an instant witch are annoying. I don’t do that. I know it’s not like baking cookies where you throw together the ingredients and bam you are done and understand your sentiment. Wiccans take time and they have a deep spiritual force flowing through them. On the other hand, my friend really is a witch (had been for years) and I learned about the religion from her and came to have some understanding. I’m definitely not Wiccan, but I do enjoy aspects of the religion a lot. I also like fun beauty tips and secrets related to health and longevity. I just love to have fun with health, beauty, and spirituality topics.

Hmm. I don’t call myself anything but assure that I am quite well read on the topics herein, and fully believe in the power of healthy living, and the importance of taking care of oneself both physically and spiritually. I assure readers that I believe in the power of spells. The importance of positive attitude as a way towards becoming a true goddess cannot be underestimated. I enjoy the Wiccan rituals for their thoughtfulness and charming spell casting. Anyone can call themselves wiccan/pagen how would one know. If I impart creative ideas or inspire a reader then I am content with that.
